Homemade Granola

Homemade Granola

Store-bought granolas are often filled with too much sugar and necessary ingredients, so we made our own! This granola is easy to make, flavorful, healthy, and simple.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 Cups of Rolled Oats

  • 3/4 Cups of Almonds

  • 3/4 Cups of Walnuts

  • 1/2 Cup of Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut

  • 2 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

  • 3/4 Cups of Honey

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and then spread out your oats on the sheet

  3. In a food processor, pulse together the almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds until finely chopped

  4. Spread out the nut mixture on the baking sheet and use a spatula to mix in with the oats

  5. Mix in the shredded coconut

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla and mix in as well

  7. Melt the honey and pour over the rest of your ingredients and continue mixing until everything it incorporated.

  8. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, use the spatula to mix everything around and then bake for another 20 minutes or until golden

  9. Enjoy on its own, in a yogurt parfait, or a smoothie bowl!

  10. Store in a dry, air-proof container like a mason jar.
